Porthleven in Cornwall - a guide to its accommodation and attractions. Royal Naval Air Station Culdrose Air Day

Royal Naval Air Station Culdrose - Annual Air Day 12th July 2006.

The 2006 annual Airday at RNAS Culdrose was covered by Ken Perks of Porthleven who also took the photographs published on this page. The photographs were taken by Ken with the kind permission and assistance of the Public Relations Office.

RNAS Culdrose, also known as HMS Seahawk is just outside Helston and situated just 3 miles from Porthleven.

Culdrose based Merlins, Sea Kings, Jetstreams and Black Seahawks ith other navy aircraft including the Royal Navy Historic Flight performed to a large crowd in glorious sunshine. The Red Arrows, the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight and more Royal Air Force aircraft arrived and displayed during the day.
